Jasper Boyle – Prince of Pearls
I finally finished my story of this boy, Jasper, and his friend Wally, and the amazing underwater world that he discovers. I still need to do some major editing on it and I’m sure that will take a bit of time, but I’m happy that the story rounding off and is open to more in the series should that be possible.
Jasper is a 12-yr-old who discovers a pearl on the sand when he’s walking the beach, and taking it home, he handles it and finds it warm. Over the course of the next few days he changes, developing gills and webbed feet and hands. Someone else is looking for the pearl – the person who stole it in the first place. But Jasper is not alone; even as he learns and changes, he shares this with his good friend Wally, his grandfather and friend Bert, and soon a mergirl called Sera.
His life, and the lives of those around him, are never the same from the moment that pearl was discovered.
